I am the kind of person who really appreciates the little things in life. Things so small that the normal person wouldn’t appreciate or pay attention to but they always seem to stand out to me.
These things are the things that bring an instant smile to my face and uplift my mood and just allow me to love life that much more than I already do.
-Being told “thank you”
-The smell of laundry
Don’t for a second try to tell me you’ve never taken a piece of clothing right out of the dryer and inhaled its scent.
-Popping bubble wrap
Literally one of the most therapeutic things you can do for your life.
-A dog that gets so excited when you arrive home after a long time of being away
I mean, c’mon, they’re jeans that feel like leggings!! Comfortable yet stylish!
-Good morning and good night text messages
-Being smiled at by random strangers on the street
Smiles are contagious 🙂
-People showing you that they actually care about what’s going on in your life and are interested in you
Where I’m from in Florida that’s literally any temperature below 60 degrees lol
-Reaching small, attainable, goals everyday
-Being told you look pretty when you literally just rolled out of bed and threw something on
No effort whatsoever put into how you look today yet everyone thinks you look like a model? WIN.
-Reuniting with childhood friends and talking about old memories
-When the people at Starbucks spell your name right
I don’t have that complicated of a name but I don’t know what it is about getting your named called and spelled correctly….it’s like you’re home even when you’re not.
*Starts playing Cheers theme song*
-Hearing “I miss you”
-Listening to throwback music and knowing every. single. lyric. to the song you’re singing along to
We all know when the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air theme song comes on you’re going HAM
-The sound/smell of rain
-The perfect shave (for men) and when you just shave your legs (for women)
We’ve all done it. Confess! Running around the house making everyone in a mile radius feel your freshly shaven legs.
-Roses for no reason. Or roses in general really.
-Taking your heels off after a very long night of partying
-Finding money that you forgot you had
OOOH! I’m $20 Dolla richer!
-People telling you that you’ve lost weight when in reality you’ve literally done nothing
